The game was scheduled to start at 4:45 p.m. MST, but the forecast provided doubt that baseball would be played on time, if at all.

The D-backs won two of the first three games in this four-game series, earning a 9-4 victory on Wednesday. Zac Gallen is slated to start on Thursday, matched up against Cardinals right-hander Michael McGreevy.
The Diamondbacks are set to travel to Tampa Bay for a weekend series against the Rays after leaving Busch Stadium on Thursday night.
