
Paige Bueckers has been an incredible addition for the Dallas Wings. She joined the squad as the first overall pick of the 2025 WNBA Draft.
In her rookie season, Bueckers was selected as a WNBA All-Star and was named to the All-WNBA Second Team. She was also named the 2025 WNBA Rookie of the Year.

The 2025 NCAA Champion finished her rookie season with 19.2 points, 5.4 assists and 1.6 steals.
In their latest game, the Wings defeated the Seattle Storm in overtime, 112-110. Bueckers scored 27 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out 5 assists.
The Dallas star also became the fastest player in WNBA history to hit 1,000 points and 250 assists. She shared her thoughts about it during a post-game interview with ESPN.

“It’s meant everything,” Bueckers said. “I think it’s more a testament to who’s helped me get here, the village that helped me get here, the story, the adversity that a lot of people helped me overcome.”

Bueckers did not forget to give credit to her teammates after her individual feat.
“Obviously, when you talk about assists,” she started, “that means a whole lot of teammates are involved. And even buckets, a whole lot of teammates are involved. And (the) coaching staffs are involved. A whole lot of people that are important to me.”
Bueckers shared that her hard work is paying off, as the belief of everyone around her is, too.
“It’s really rewarding to see that hard work pay off,” said the Dallas star. “And their hard work and their investment and their belief in me pay off.

“But it’s really a true team testament and a team accomplishment, and so I’m really grateful for it.”
The Wings currently have an impressive 11-6 record this season and sit fifth in the WNBA standings. Dallas is one of the top contenders this year, and Bueckers is leading the charge.
