NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort has reopened its doors in December 2025 following a six-month transformation, introducing 16 new pool villas, a beachfront infinity pool and upgraded dining venues and facilities that mark a new chapter for the renowned island retreat, formerly known as Reethi Beach Resort.
Nestled within the Unesco Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll, the lush private island is home to rich flora and fauna and is reachable via a 35-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport.
The reimagined resort now features 105 beach and overwater villas, with refreshed interiors showcasing a soothing palette of sand, coral, and ocean hues, alongside natural materials, including locally sourced wood, woven rattan, and stone accents, to create serene, light-filled spaces.
Guests staying in the Beach Villas can enjoy direct access to the shoreline and panoramic ocean views, with select villas offering open-air bathrooms, rain showers, and spacious sun decks. The new pool villas provide a touch of added indulgence, each with a private plunge pool and dedicated butler service. Meanwhile, the overwater villas promise uninterrupted lagoon vistas from their expansive private decks.
The resort’s refreshed facilities include a new adults-only infinity pool and a rejuvenated spa offering wellbeing experiences inspired by nature. The updated Activity Centre now features a state-of-the-art gym, games room and a kids’ club complete with splash pool and supervised activities. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy tennis, badminton, volleyball and pickleball courts.
