The Connecticut Sun are on the road on Monday night as they travel to take on the Portland Fire in an interconference matchup.
Connecticut enters Monday’s game with a 0-4 record after losing at home to the Las Vegas Aces on Friday night.

In Friday’s loss to the Aces, Hailey Van Lith led the way for the Sun as she recorded 17 points and four assists while Saniya Rivers added 14 points, three rebounds and seven assists of her own off the bench.
Now Connecticut will try to grab their first victory of the season and snap a four-game losing streak on Monday as they face off against the Fire in a road matchup.
On the other side, Portland enters Monday’s contest with a 1-2 record after losing at home to the New York Liberty on Thursday night.

Megan Gustafson led the way for the Fire in Thursday’s loss as she ended the game with 14 points and three rebounds off the bench while Nyadiew Puoch recorded 13 points, two rebounds and two assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Monday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
For the Sun, they have three players listed on their injury report, including both Brittney Griner and Olivia Nelson-Ododa.

Connecticut has listed Griner as probable due to a left foot injury and she is expected to return from a two-game absence on Monday.
The Sun have ruled out Nelson-Ododa due to a right ankle injury as she will miss her second consecutive contest.

Leila Lacan has also been ruled out as she remains away from the team due to overseas obligations.
Fire Injury Report: Will Carla Leite Play?
On the other side, the Fire have three players listed on their injury report, including guard Carla Leite.

Portland has listed Leite as questionable due to a right ankle injury and she is in danger of missing her second straight game.
The Fire have also listed Kamiah Smalls as questionable due to a left ankle injury and she is in danger of missing her second game of the season.
Karlie Samuelson has been ruled out as she will miss her fourth consecutive contest to begin the season due to a left foot injury.
