The Anaheim Ducks have signed pending unrestricted free agent forward A.J. Greer to a four-year, $17-million contract that carries a cap hit of $4.25 million, according to TSN’s Pierre LeBrun.

The Ducks acquired the rights to Greer from the Florida Panthers on Monday in exchange for the rights to defenceman Radko Gudas.

Greer, 29, had 17 goals and 32 points in 78 games with the Panthers last season.

The 6-foot-3 winger is coming off a two-year, $1.7 million contract that carried a cap hit of $850,000.

Drafted 39th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in 2015, Greer has 36 goals and 81 points in 326 career games split between the Avalanche, New Jersey Devils, Boston Bruins, Calgary Flames, and Panthers.

Greer recorded two goals and three points in 16 playoff games as he helped the Panthers to their second of back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 2025.
