The Valkyries will try to grab another victory and extend their winning streak to nine games Saturday as they face off against the Mystics in a tough home matchup.
Washington enters Saturday’s contest with a 12-11 record after losing at home to the Portland Fire Thursday night.

Shakira Austin led the way for the Mystics in Thursday’s loss as she ended the game with 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists while Sonia Citron recorded eight points, six rebounds and three assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Saturday night’s matchup, one may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Of course, Williams returned from a one-game absence due to a back contusion in Wednesday’s victory over the Fever and she will be available once again Saturday as she is off the injury report entirely.

Golden State has ruled out Juste Jocyte due to left foot soreness while Iliana Rupert will miss the remainder of the season due to her pregnancy.
