Following their departure from WWE, The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) appeared on the July 30th 2026 edition of Collision in Detroit. AEW President Tony Khan officially welcomed the duo by writing on Twitter/X, “it’s official TONIGHT: @SuperChrisSabin @AlexShelley313 Motor City Machine Guns are ALL ELITE!”
In a promo, Sabin stated the following…
“Did you really think we wouldn’t be here? Because let me tell you, there is no place we would rather be than right here in the greatest city in the history of modern civilization. The city that we have loved and represented for 20 years. Because this right here is where the best wrestle.”
Shelley added, “Detroit, in more ways than one… we are home.”
