The Longhorns (41-13) are hosting a regional in Austin for the 39th time in program history. They began play Friday against Holy Cross (25-29) with a dominant 19-1 win. Next up they get Tarleton State (38-19).
The Texans downed UC Santa Barbara (38-19) on Friday to make the winners’ bracket. Tarleton State represents the Western Athletic Conference, finishing first in the conference.
The Longhorns were upset in last year’s Austin Regional 7-4 against UTSA. But with a win Saturday, the Longhorns will be in prime position to move on to super regionals, which would be hosted in Austin. Tarleton State can’t be overlooked after taking down the Longhorns in the regular season, 6-1.
Here is how to watch Texas baseball play Tarleton State in the first game of the Austin Regional.

The winner of the regional will play the winner out of Eugene.
Out west, is Yale (30-14-1) and a Pac-12 reunion with the other three teams: No. 11 seed Oregon (41-16), Oregon State (43-13) and Washington State. The Ducks beat the Bulldogs to start; WSU took down OSU in the nightcap.
