Three people and dog make it out of Toledo house fire

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Three people escaped a house fire and a dog was rescued in Toledo Tuesday morning.

The call for a house fire in the 3200 block of Elm Street came in just before 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 23.

Fire officials at the scene said the fire started upstairs, though investigators are still working to determine what sparked it.

Three people made it out uninjured and firefighters rescued a dog.

The extent of the damage is unclear.
