Baseball was played at Great American Ball Park on Friday night but it wasn’t the Cincinnati Reds.With the Reds in New York, the Savannah Bananas arrived in Cincinnati this weekend to packed crowds for the first of three games against the Indianapolis Clowns.With their “Banana Ball,” style of play, a sold-out crowd at GABP saw choreographed dances on the field, trick plays and the game decided not by runs… but by points.For the full set of Banana Ball rules, click here.The game Friday also featured a celebrity guest, with Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins pinch-running for the Bananas. The Bananas and Clowns will keep the fun going into the weekend, with more games at Great American Ball Park scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
