Two dead after car crash in Okaloosa County

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – A single-car crash on I-10 near mile marker 51 early Tuesday morning resulted in the death of the driver and passenger.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the silver Dodge Ram was eastbound when it ran off the road and hit a tree.

The driver, a 65-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, and a woman from the same city both died of their injuries. FHP says the crash is still under investigation.
