Diawara agreed to a multi-year contract with the Knicks on Monday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Charania reports that the deal is expected to be worth at least $10 million, though the contract details have not yet been disclosed. Diawara saw an inconsistent role during his rookie campaign, stepping up when injuries arose. Across 69 regular-season games (seven starts), the 21-year-old forward averaged 3.6 points and 1.4 rebounds in 9.2 minutes per tilt.
