Just as they did during the NBA playoffs, the New York Knicks will completely take over the airwaves when team members headline a special championship episode of NBC’s “Tonight Show” on Monday night.

Host Jimmy Fallon, a lifelong Knicks fan, revealed that the June 15 program will be dedicated to celebrating the Knicks’ first NBA title since 1973.

Stars Jalen Brunson, OG Anunoby, Karl-Anthony Towns and the rest of the team will be on hand, along with special musical guest Wu-Tang Clan.

After celebrating the Knicks’ championship win, some fans were caught on camera lending a hand to New York City sanitation workers cleaning up the streets.

There’s also a promise to be kept.

Finals MVP Brunson − in a Feb. 10, 2024 appearance on the show − vowed to bring the Larry O’Brien Trophy with him when the Knicks won the championship.

“I will. 1,000 percent. I’ll bring it right here,” he said (at 9:02 mark in the video below).
