In a celebration of the Iowa Lottery’s 40th anniversary, hundreds of Iowa State Fairgoers set a Guinness World Record on Thursday for the most people scratching scratch cards simultaneously.The Iowa Lottery aimed to beat the record of 550 people set in 2023 by a lottery in Warsaw, Poland.And beat it, they did.
