The Dallas Wings are on the road Wednesday night as they travel to take on the Golden State Valkyries in a Western Conference showdown as part of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Dallas enters Wednesday’s game with a 9-5 record after defeating the Las Vegas Aces at home in dominant fashion Monday night.

In Monday’s victory over the Aces, Arike Ogunbowale led the way for the Wings as she recorded 22 points, four rebounds and seven assists while Jessica Shepard added 15 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists of her own.

The Wings will try to grab another victory Wednesday as they face off against the Valkyries in a tough road matchup.

Golden State enters Wednesday’s contest with a 9-5 record after defeating the Los Angeles Sparks at home in dominant fashion Monday night to extend their winning streak to three games.

Gabby Williams led the way for the Valkyries in Monday’s victory as she ended the game with 16 points and four rebounds while Kaila Charles recorded 13 points, eight rebounds and five assists off the bench.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, one may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
