The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released an implementation guide to help members and leaders prepare for the changes to the Sunday class meeting schedule that begin on September 6, 2026.
The changes that the First Presidency announced on March 30, 2026, include weekly 25-minute Sunday School, Relief Society, elders quorum, Young Women and Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings and youth lessons. Also announced was a youth curriculum based on an updated “For the Strength of Youth: A Guide for Making Choices.”
According to the guide, “This is more than a schedule change; it is an invitation to joyful, Christ-centered worship—renewing our home-centered, Church-supported pattern and strengthening covenant belonging.”
